屹立油尖旺25年　霓虹招牌引起保育界關注
位於佐敦德興街的德興桑拿，據香港按摩業總會主席周鎮宇透露於1997年已開業，佔地面積約1萬呎，屬油尖旺區內其中一間歷史悠久的老字號桑拿，其霓虹招牌甚至成為保育本港霓虹招牌及紀錄本港歷史的關注目標。
現場所見，位於地庫的德興桑拿關閘，門口貼上通告稱奉政府《599F》法例指示自1月7日起凌晨起暫時停業至1月20日，惟受到第五波疫情影響，開業遙遙無期，近月接連被業主透過律師出信追租，最近一則通告為3月3日，聲稱透過土地審裁處成功入稟收回舖位，毗連的「理想8」酒店亦同樣難逃被追租收舖命運，兩間店舖入夜後烏燈黑火，與昔日德興街充斥夜總會、時鐘酒店及桑拿的繁盛紅燈區相比，疫情下顯得格外冷清。

Having stood in Yau Tsim Mong for 25 years, the neon sign of De Xing Sauna on Austin Road in Jordan has drawn attention from the conservation community. According to the chairman of the Hong KongMassage Association, Zhou Zhenyu, the sauna opened in 1997 and covers an area of about 10,000 square feet. It is one of the long-established saunas in the Yau Tsim Mong district, and its neon sign has even become a target of conservation efforts, recording the history of neon signs in Hong Kong.
At the scene, the shutter of De Xing Sauna in the basement was closed, and a notice was posted at the entrance stating that it would be temporarily closed from the early morning of January 7 until January 20, in accordance with the government's "599F" ordinance. However, it has been affected by the fifth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, and its reopening date remains uncertain. In recent months, the landlord has been pursuing rent through a lawyer, and the most recent notice was on March 3, claiming that the shop had successfully regained its space through the Lands Tribunal. The adjacent "Ideal 8" hotel has also faced the same fate of being pursued for rent, and both shops are dark and empty at night. Compared with the bustling red-light district of De Xing Street in the past, which was filled with nightclubs, clock hotels, and saunas, it now appears particularly quiet under the pandemic.
