再見川崎輕鐵列車 Goodbye Light Rail

鐵第二期列車，又名「川崎輕鐵列車」，乃港鐵的輕鐵車輛型號之一，在輕鐵使用，由九廣鐵路公司擁有，於1991年向日本川崎重工業購買30輛輕鐵車輛，供輕鐵系統使用。隨兩鐵合併，九廣鐵路公司通過與地鐵有限公司簽訂的經營權協議，授予香港鐵路有限公司使用。該款輕鐵車輛是輕鐵唯一一款日本製造的車輛，在2022年8月28日起陸續退役，並由輕鐵第五期列車取代，現已全數退役。

The Phase 2 Light Rail Vehicles, also known as the "Kawasaki Light Rail Vehicles," were one of the types of light rail vehicles operated by MTR in the Light Rail system. Owned by the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation, 30 of these light rail vehicles were purchased from Kawasaki Heavy Industries in Japan in 1991 for use in the Light Railsystem. After the merger of KCR and MTR, the operation rights were granted to MTR Corporation Limited through an agreement with MTR Corporation Limited and the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation. This was the only type of light rail vehicle in the Light Rail system that was manufactured in Japan. It was gradually retired starting from August 28, 2022, and has been replaced by the Phase 5 Light Rail Vehicles. All of these vehicles have now been retired from service.
