消失的招牌 Disappearing Neon and signboard

今次畫五個招牌，第一個決定要畫嘅係大鋼刀 因為好鐘意生銹質感，好靚 絕無僅有嘅刀型招牌，好想畫！ 今次畫唔發光嘅招牌， 係想配合梁添刀廠個招牌日頭樣貌 亦想挑戰畫唔發光霓虹燈招牌 由於呢個系列自己決定 要將花草植物加上去周圍地方 今次我將吊起招牌嘅鋼絲變成花草藤蔓 將金屬變做綠色，效果都幾滿意💚 今次用左之前係  @colourexp 買既 Arches Watercolor paper  Cold pressed , natural white 185g 靚靚水彩紙係完全唔會起粒😭 吸水力強，化色好，顯色靚、瘋狂疊色都唔會污糟，超好玩 多謝 @vanishing.hongkong 靈感來源 展覽在中環，詳細見上post  "Disappearing Signs in Recent Years" Painted five different signs of hongkong and the first one I decided to paint was a big steel knife.  The rusty texture and unique shape of the knife were particularly beautiful, and it had a 40-year history in Hong Kong, unfortunately it has disappeared from the streets of Hong Kong. I chose to paint non-illuminated signs this time because I wanted to match with the non-neon appearance of the leung Tim Knife Factory and also challenge myself to paint non-illuminated neon signs. For this series, I decided to add flowers and plants to the surrounding areas, so I turned the steel wire that hangs the signs into vines and painted the metal green.(and I am super happy with the result)!! On this painting, i used <Arches Watercolor paper, cold-pressed, natural white 185g> .  This beautiful watercolor paper doesn't create any grains, and it has strong water absorption, good color blending, and brilliant colors. It's also fun to layer colors without making a mess. Thanks to vanishing.hongkong for the inspiration!! artworks will be exhibited in mini hotel central from 12/4-12/5 2023
